This is a succinct and frightening look at the way that the race to develop the atomic bomb played out. The odd mixture of sympathies that led to the Russians obtaining the design of the first plutonium bomb was very interesting. While I don't agree with their reasoning, I can better understand what the American and British scientists who gave away secrets were thinking.

This book was amazing.
