3.5 STARS for a solid first entry by the author. Won this book on Library Thing and enjoyed the opportunity to read it. The author created an interesting world and likable characters.
What caused me to deduct a half star were issues such as: certain scenes/characters felt unpolished and could have probably benefited from a bit more attention; also, repeated instances of people who 'locked eyes' or other variations of the same thing.
