That was one awesome book or perhaps the perfect example of excellent timing: the right mood for a particular story at the exact right time!

I hadn't read the description of the book before starting it, I'd only heard a small sample of the first chapter and loved it - from the narrator's interpretation to the idea of a non-magical daughter in a very powerful magical family.
