I read first in a series of episodes as a group book read for the Zombies! group. Wow - this is one hot mess.
It's a little difficult to review a 50 page narrative that's part of a larger story. However, this episode was very difficult to read. The writing was juvenile - it had a "Dick and Jane" staccato feel to it with no flow or rhythm to the writing. There were quite a few characters - John, Luanne, Derek for the "good guys" and a host of "bad guys" - all very stereotyped, all very flat. Of c ...more
