I enjoyed this book - it was a fun, fast read. Pretty light and fluffy ... and was perhaps a little fast on the hook up (I struggle with fated mate stuff... and this was exceptionally fast... I think Dela and Hari were in love within the first 2 hours after meeting).

The story of Dela, an artist and weapon maker with the ability to hear the "call" of weapons, and Hari, a tiger shifter who has been cursed to serve as a slave to whomever holds the box he's been imprisoned in.

Typical PNR storyline and a catchy beginning for a series, Dirk and Steele.
You have a hero trapped for centuries and was accidentally released by our heroine who refused to enslave him. Our heroine herself has an affinity to steel, and together they will battle the Magi, the original reason why our hero is in his current predicament.
Liu has an interesting writing style, very lyrical prose. The storyline is good enough for me to continue reading, and she introduced enough secondary characters tha ...more
