This is the 9th book, and we're back to more fun times following the harrowing events of book #8. Timeframe is a year later.
The fun and games include Jeff being nominated to be on the ticket for Vice President, Ronny's kids, traitors, ACE-like super consciousnesses, lots of explosions, poofs, dogs & peregrines, gossip columnists, assassins and the Hunt for Red Chernobog.

Honestly, this was an almost shockingly straightforward book. No real plot to unravel, there was never any real question about the goal or the source of the problem.

3.5 really - fun but way overtuffed with plot and characters. Honestly, I don't know who some of these people are anymore. The books are quick moving enough that sometimes it doesn't matter who they are anyway. I also think I would have liked this better if I'd read it when it came out. (view spoiler)
