Really 4.5 stars.
CK did an excellent job of continuing the story arc even though the big bad died in the last book. Just like in RL, life carries on following trauma and rescue.
We see a smattering of crazy from Maya and Carly, but this one is predominantly Harding (one of Maya's guards) and Tess (Alistair McCain's daughter/stepdaughter - gotta read it for that to make sense :D)
Harding is sent to a Freedom Compound to provide security for the rescued women shifters (most of whom are sensitives ( ...more
