AH & Christal's Review - 4 Skulls - B+

Christal: Kristen Callihan does it again! I was a little worried going into Soulbound. I didn't expect to like Adam and Eliza May -- I mean he chained her up for goodness sakes! Adam had come off pretty cold in his previous appearances, but I quite liked him and his cheeky humor here. They way that he treated Eliza May here and the explanations he gave for his previous ac

I initially wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy this, but I ended up enjoying it very much and really liking the characters and the story. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, it reminded me too much of how things ended for V and Jane in Lover Unbound. But I'm still quite excited for the next book in the series. ...more

This review contains spoilers for the previous book, Evernight.
Adam and Eliza had a story-line in the previous book (she dies and Adam is called to remake her into a GIM, but doesn't because he recognizes his soulmate. He's been waiting 700 years. Another nice read in the series. SPOILERS......................

Nice touch about Adam being a virgin. Was not expecting that. I never liked that he kept her chained in the previous book and though he regretted it and realized the error of his ways, it still was a point that put me off him a bit. Overally enjoyed him and Eliza May. Also nice to see how the GIMS really do like him and serve him of their own free wills.
