Another great, funny, lol story. I certainly had a smile on my face for the most part.

This time Elizabeth, a bunny shifter, who was brought up by her Uncle, the Vampire Councillor at Noctem Falls, knows immediately she meets Gavriel, vampire, the second-in-command of Alpha Unit, that he is her Mate.

The story of Gavriel, Aiden's right hand man and very old vampire, who finds his mate in Elizabeth, an accident prone shifter.

Elizabeth arrives in Lycaonia for a new beginning but does not expect to find her mate there, or the perfect place for her. She becomes great friends with Meryn, whom she adopts as a younger sister, and finds that her talents as an administrator are sorely needed by the Alpha Unit warriors who have trouble with change.

What a disappointing read.......

I was expecting a romance between Gavriel and his mate Elizabeth but this entire book was about Meryn and Aiden. There was no build up to a romance or connection between them. They acted as parents to Aiden and Meryn which was just very off putting.

After reading this book, Meryn comes across as a spoilt brat who I found to be annoying and needed to grow up and act as an adult not a teen. I did not find her setting Aiden's car on fire to be cute, it was most irresp ...more

Beth (a bunny shifter) arrives and her and Gavriel fall into insta love as they are mates, but she has horrible luck and he is going through a difficult transition.

What I enjoyed:
* Anytime the warriors go shopping, you are in for a treat
* I like how the mates are changing traditions (view spoiler)
* Ryuu is just the BEST
* Loved Meryn's minions

What could have been better:
