So I really hated the audiobook of this, which was a dramatized adaption. I kept trying to push through, but by the time I realized that I wasn't going to be able to make it, I had lost the desire to finish the book at all.

Pretty straightforward UF. Rylee can be unforgivably bone-headed at times, and O'Shea is laying it on a bit thick.

I enjoyed this second installment of Rylee Adamson. It still didn't provide as much back story as I would have liked, but I did enjoy the story nonetheless. It did boarder more on Paranormal Romance than Urban Fantasy than I usually like, but I have already purchased #3 and look forward to reading it.

I LOVE that she’s not okay with possessiveness. I am SO glad I found this series. She is so competent and hers not constantly saving her. He’s helped but she is completely competent without being overly emotionally /bitchy. I do live this character. Not a perfect solution which really please me. Not perfection but believability. I’m not overly fond of het sexbut it was pretty hot without for the most part using terms that were too cheesy.
