(4.5 stars) Fantastically original! A must-read for UF fans, in general, and JANE YELLOWROCK fans, in particular. Don't let Rick's involvement in this spin-off/set-in-same-world new series detour you.

A strong start to what promises to be a great new series. I only wish there was more time to get to know characters and to develop their individuality. However, with so many characters introduced in such a short span of time, I was impressed by how memorable they were. I'm looking forward to getting to know them better in future books. ...more
