Excellent follow up story to the Beatrice and Gio mystery/romance that was begun 5 years ago in the first book. At first, one would think that a mystery involving missing ancient texts, research librarians, and vampires would be about as well suited as oil and water, but really, this book, just like the first, blew my expectations away.
