The King on Books On Track
RTC
2015/04/18:
Only a couple of chapters in and I'm already exasperated...
Constant, unrelenting slang, a (big) number of pop culture references, a confusing prologue, are only a few of my issues.
On hold for now...

SEVENTEENTH CENTURY, OLD COUNTRY
“Long live the King.”
At the sound of the deep, grave voice, Wrath, son of Wrath, had an instinct to look around for his father … a spark of hope that the death had not occurred and the great ruler was as yet still with them.
But of course, his beloved sire remained gone unto the Fade.

ASSAIL FOREVER!!!!!!! Too many different story lines. The pop culture references as well as the lingo are enough to make my head spin. What is an EF5? And no, I am not going to Google it. As usual, it's about 400 pages of a bunch of what the hell. Oh hey, I sound like Ward! Then the last 100 are exciting enough to make me feel bad about hating a book in one of my favorite series. Especially when said 100 pages contains scenes that makes me a little less shocked about the wedding episode of Game
