I don't remember a damn thing about what I read. I remember pastries off the top of my head. Oh, okay, I'm starting to remember now...
I think this bored me more than anything. I didn't find myself wanting to run home to it like I did the first two. I still like all the characters, but the story just wasn't that interesting to me. The killer was the same possessed crazy I've seen before.
The Love Geometry I thought might be there wasn't there. Good! I don't think I could take that kind of math. I

I liked this better than the last one. Katie has really settled in Savannah. She's made her home hers, is very comfortable and settled at her job, and has great friendships with her coven. She and Declan are dating. He wants her to meet his parents (I think in MA? Was it Boston?) and she has found reasons to put it off. Katie is volunteering too at a conservation group.
This starts off when the founder of the conservation group, Georgia Wild, is found murdered. Things escalate when Wren and than

The smell of woodsmoke from a distant hearth teased my nose as I surveyed my predawn preparations with a critical eye.

Katie Lightfoot is volunteering at Georgia Wild, a non profit environmental group in addition to her work at the Honeybee Bakery. Katie takes on another investigation when a fellow volunteer is found murdered.

This series is moving along nicely. Katie and hunky firefighter, Declan are now an official couple. Yay! Steve is still hanging out in the fringe and wants to be Katie's fri

3.5 stars. This felt cozier to me than previous books. I like this series when I need something to eat or baked goods on the cover. I noticed that Mungo is on the cover peeking into the window of the Honeybee Bakery.

Likes:
* Mungo, Katie's fuzzy familiar
* Glad that Mungo made a cover appearance!
* Katie's boyfriend, firefighter Declan McCarthy
* Rule of 3: using magic comes back to you threefold, whether good or bad

I think this series is starting to pick up. It is still closer to a love triangle than I like as even though Katie made a decision, the other guy is still hanging around and I don't think Katie is sure of her decision.

Katie finds out more about herself and her mother comes for a visit. Declan gets a taste of what witchcraft really is and the group fights to save a swamp from being turned into a golf course.

I do like that Katie doesn't work against the police, like so many cozies tend to.
