Wow, it took me more than two years to read this book!?! I blame myself, not the book, because it was good. I was not in the right frame of mind when I started reading it and stopped to do other things - that didn't mean reading other books exclusively, but I digress... After I got back to it, it was a joy to be back to the crazy, OTT world created by Shelly Laurenston in her Pride series.

This was great fun. Bears, bears & hybrid honey badgers. Also with lots of friends from previous Pride series books.

Shelly Laurenston has stayed one of my all time favorite writers and this books is a reread fest waiting to happen.
I was sad when the Pride series ended but with this book we can see that did it did not really, it just shifted to focus on these badger shifter sisters. All good.
The whole gang is here from the Pride Series so while I adored this book I think if you haven't been reading the Pride Series this book is good but not great as the cast can be overwhelming and because there is so many cha ...more

I really tried to finish this but I really didn't care. I kept waiting for the romance part but instead it was just more and more weirdness/quirkiness with the sisters. It seemed like the author was trying too hard with all these characters and their quirks.
