This was a cute start to a new series, a fun fast read with a heroine I really liked. She's a bit of a kook, but she's loyal and compassionate, a great character.

I don't understand Byron though. He was acting like she owed him something - like she owed any of them something - and that was some bullshit, frankly. I don't think anyone can possibly not know how she was treated. She was an infant, in that court and not even given a name - just girl - treated like a servant, and it sounds like beaten

Another entertaining Helen Harper book. I can see this one being as good as the Blood Destiny/Corrigan series, just with Fae.

Integrity Taylor ran away from the Sidhe lands when she was 11. She was the last of Clan Adair and was treated like crap; they didn't even give her a name, so she gave herself one. She also uses really bad jokes as a shield and a distraction.

She falls in with a misfit group of thieves and so the next part of her life begins.
