Took me a while to decide what to rate this. I'm big fan of Ilona & Gordon, loved the world and every single secondary character EXCEPT Catalina & Alessandro. Who the hell stops to lust after a guy while bullets are flying? I know Catalina is just 21 and really horny, with not being able to get close to any guy and stuff. But still. Sapphire Flames on Books On Track
With every new book by Ilona Andrews I remember why they remain at the top of my favorite authors list!
Engaging plots, three dimensional, likable characters and delicious witty banter are always present in their books, and this one was no exception.
The story focuses on Catalina, who has taken charge of the Baylor household in place of Nevada, and immediately finds herself in deep waters when she accepts a case from one of her friends, whose family was murdered.
