Max has to prove herself to the Council, and whilst doing that mentions that Chades are sick & not monsters, well at least some of them.

I really, really enjoyed this one. What Dex has been through, I can't even imagine. And it's so great to see such a truly good man get a second chance at life.
And it's so great to see more of the overall plot unfold with Max and the chades. I feel like there's got to be some people on the council who know a lot more about this than they let on. And I have to wonder if great champions - people like Charlemagne - were deliberately infected to turn them into chades and get them out of the villain' ...more
