I am in love with Mystic Bayou. I honestly thought I knew who the villain was in the story, but found I was completely wrong.
I was glad to see Zed get his girl. David's was perfect for him. I keep hoping that Bael's family get what they deserve for treating him like garbage.

It was nice to come back to Mystic Bayou. Things are shaken up as the International League for Interspecies Cooperation has moved in.
What I enjoyed:
* The small town of Mystic Bayou is cool. I especially like the brownie who runs the pie shop.
* Dani has an unconventional family which has led her to being relationship leery. (view spoiler)
* I liked Zed a lot and it was great to see Jillian and Bael again.

The narrators, Amanda Ronconi and Jonathan Davis make this series a 4 star read.
Enjoyed this much better than the first. Love the cajun accents of the narrator's! 💓
