I have to say this is definitely one of the most original stories I've ever read. A re-incarnated cat (9 lives) and a spirit dog (who can take corporal form) join up with Deidre aka Foxtrot to insure the safety of the pet graveyard.

I've been searching for a new paranormal mystery series and was intrigued by the blurb on this one. The concept, telepathic cat & ghost dog helping solve a murder, had a lot of possibilities. Unfortunately, the execution fell a little short for me. While there were a few humorous bright spots (the ghost parrot with his formal speech thoughts at odds with his traditional parrot-like audio outbursts cracked me up) and the tragic true story of Topsy the Elephant touched my heart, the plot ...more
