I was surprised at how fast I read this book. It wasn't what I was expecting.
I always enjoy Cheyenne McCray's writing and this one was no different. Nyx is a very strong character and I liked the interactions between all the main characters. It was kinda a twist on the normal stories that I have been reading lately with the main bad guys wanting to get rid of the paranorms on the planet. Fast-paced if a little superficial-feeling at times. I'm not sure what it is, but bad things are happening but I dont seem to connect with the characters, it all rushes by so fast. I like the ideas, I just don't enjoy this as much as I would like. ...more
