Phaedra Weldon's book has the dubious honor to be my first dropped book of this year. The premise sounds really interesting - Zoë has the ability to leave her body which she uses for espionage - and in the hands of a better writer, this would've been a great book. But!

The book is painfully juvenile. The heroine is almost 30 but she behaves like a 12-year-old. She uses phrases like "How rude!" or words like "oogy". For her out-of-body experience, she dresses in a black cat suit and bunny slippers

Good Potential but sometimes the self talk was a little to juvinile for me. Yet, will read the next to see if it develops into something.

An interesting world full of ghosts and other "oogies", as Zoe liked to call them.

Zoe has the rare ability of astral projection, which is essentially the ability to leave her body and become some sort of ghost for a finite amount of time.
