Supernatural with a girl!
The world is dark and frightening, there are creatures from nightmares everywhere but only few know of them.

This is the 3rd series by St. Crow I have read (and finished) and
I have the same response at the end if each. I loved the books,
except...the end always leaves me a bit unfinished. No
"happily ever after", just an "ever after".
The good side of this is that her stories are very different,
unpredictable somewhat and that is good. Perhaps a bit repetitive but that doesn't bother me,
except I admit in this teen series skipping over some stuff I had heard
so many times already.
And I love her character ...more

This review's a little difficult in that I can tell you more of what I didn't like, but I still really enjoyed the story. So where to start…well, what I didn't like: first-person narration by Dru with frequent interruptions by snarky side-thoughts, the mention of Graves' Asian-ness every other time she talks about him (I mean epicanthic folds, looking pale even for an 'ethnic person', a lot of half-Asian comments…I mean, she knows nothing about this boy, but she knows he's half-Asian?
