4.5 stars for JF Nocturna world. "Night's Darkest Embrace". I thoroughly enjoyed this world of demons, angels, other realms and villains. It was well thought out, interesting, fast paced and didn't feel forced or rushed. Mara is a half demon, hell bent on revenge for the murder of her cousin Gloria. Rafael is the ruler of Nocturna, where Mara must travel to find answers to who, and why her cousin and her were kidnapped and Gloria eaten. Written in first person. I liked it a lot. I love short stories. It gives me a break from series but still being able to read my favourite authors. This does not disappoint like I ever thought it would. Settle down in a comfy spot and have a break with Haunted by Your Touch, it's worth it ...more
