Enjoyed this book, my one complaint is that she kinda jumped back to the people in the first two books in a choppy way and said this or that happened with no explanation

Genny is young and naive and totally under her father's thumb at the start of the book. She does grow up and come into her own, which couldn't have been easy.

John is hiding away from the world and his power. Genny makes him realize that isn't the best way to deal with his guilt.

John and Genny have insta-love as they barely know anything about each other. They never really gelled for me, which is probably why my favorite part of the book is (view spoiler)
