Good urban fantasy but the romance between Max and Charlotte fell flat.

Such frustration but not bad frustration if that makes sense. Sometimes I wanted to yell at Cee Cee then other times I understood where she was coming from.
I liked the setting. I liked the story. I liked Max quite a bit.
I did not like CeCe. I spent 85% of the book alternating between wanting to slap her or shake some sense into her.
