What Members Thought
Overall I was really disappointed with this book. The magic and paranormal aspects were fascinating, this book lacked in character growth. It seemed to rushed and didn't have the attention to detail that Harrison usually gives to her stories. This would probably be a good series for a vacation getaway or airplane reading. I finally decided on the type of fiction the books from this series represent. They are entertaining, but have little action. Events are mostly about obtaining some new knowledge and saving someone from themselves. It has some lightness about it, that usually can be found in TV serials. Nothing of real import. I think it is close to "Charmed" style.
