Liked the novella, an interesting story about tension in Sams hometown when his brother is getting married - gives us a bit more background into Sam. Liked the recaps of the books, I hadnt really thought about it in terms of timing when I read the books, this way it gives it more of an alternate history feel, which sent me engaging in flights of fancy of my own! The included novella, Small-Town Wedding, was one of my favorites but the rest of the book was just so-so. The companion included overviews of each book, recipes, Q & A's with Charlaine Harris and Alan Ball, and a character dictionary. I skimmed most of the content, but I could see it coming in handy while reading one of the novels and needing to look up a name or specific incident.
