Time for a re-read. And it STILL gets 5 stars.

This was a fantastic book and the best book that I've read in awhile-one of those that you don't put down until finished and where you've got this excited feeling in the middle of your chest.
Written in the first person by a 15-yr old, it has a maturity that is not common in today's youth, but nevertheless believable.
While I consider it to be a self-contained story, by the end of the book, there are indications that it could be the 1st in a series. I ...more

I wasn't really all that eager to read Raised By Wolves mainly because of it's YA tag, but it was chosen at the BOM for a group and I hate to miss out:) I really should know better by now, after avoiding YA books for a number of years I have lately read some that have been suprisingly enjoyable and Raised By Wolves was just that.
Bryn is human but her life as the werewolf pack Alpha's adopted daughter is anything but normal. Essentially she has had only one goal since surviving the murder of her ...more

Despite this book having a YA tag, it had been on my TBR shelf for a while.I decided to finally read this(YA sometimes appeals to me). I can tell you i was not dissapointed. it wasn't all fluffy bunnies that you usually get from YA reads. yes i kept getting interrupted when i was reading it but i can tell you this, i was very reluctant to leave the book.
i find callum to be my favourite character. and Bryn (when i first started reading) i thoght was just a little brat. she seems to grow up after ...more

Shelves: excellent-ya

This book was so much more than I imagined, so much more than typical teen were fare. The first few chapters were iffy, but after that the beginnings of an intricate, beautiful plot was revealed. Fast-paced and curious, this is not a book to miss. Do not hesitate to buy it.

I would give this book a million stars if I could. I knew, from the blurb- that I was going to love it. Heartbreaking at times and adventurous to say the least - it takes the werewolf genre to the moon and back. Bought and read at least three times on the first day!
