Enjoyed this book a lot more this time around, maybe because I've come to understand the necessity of Alex's actions. Well, Alex has walked the line between the light/dark mage spectrum for long enough. He's been continuously hunted and threatened; he's done with it and those who just won't leave him be. A lot happened in this installment, much more than most previous it seemed, except for maybe Fallen. I love this series, returning to these characters and I'm sad knowing it's coming to an end. I have a lot of things on my finale wishlist, I wonder what Jacka has planned. No doubt it'll be a doozy.
