This series is so good, and this was an outstanding addition. I was a little bummed that most of this book was spent off-world, so we didn't get to interact much at all with our regular characters. But honestly, I so enjoyed the characters in this book - Lucy, Ronan, Daisy, Esme - that I didn't stay bummed for long.

I hope Lucy and Ronan aren't just one-off characters, because I loved them. The epilogue also made me wonder... Spin off series, maybe?

Anyway, I'm glad this book wrapped ...more

First off, thank you to the author for providing an ARC, much appreciated.

Secondly, if you, like me am already a fan of The Alice Worth series and read the previous book (Heart of Shadows, Book 5), and found the shifting POVs off-putting, then you will be happy to know that this book did not have multiple POVs.

Instead we get to join along with Alice, as she and her trusty ghost sidekick, travel to another world, filled with even more magic/supernatural beings (dragons!!!) and even a trip to hel ...more
