3.5 stars.. This was an emotional roller coaster, very scary and some decent lust/romance, but too much vampire history and politics for my liking, thus not 4 stars.

I've been itching to read this for a while - I really enjoyed Skinwalker and I'm glad to say that Blood Cross was equally as enjoyable.
Jane Yellowrock is smart and capable. The plot relies on her intelligence and initiative rather than lucky coincidence to move forward. I like the segues between Big Cat and Jane, it feels suprisingly natural. Jane's love interests are very much secondary characters rather than equal leads and they are more about lust than romance at this stage though it seems t ...more

this one i found myself under my blankets with a torchlight. i haven't done that for a while.
i could not stop reading it, and when it finished i felt as if i just started breathing again.
I LOVED IT!!!! :o)
i love beast and how she is with Jane. but i just love little angie. soo cute, it was like my heart was torn out when she was kidnapped. i'd already but somethings toigether at that stage. and i just had to read the rest of the book. ...more
