Definitely not what I expected based on the cliffhanger ending of the previous book as that major plot was barely touched on in this book as Annie went to work in an amusement park to hide from the Covenant and ended up embroiled in something different.
What I enjoyed:
* I liked Annie's roommates and learning about luck was interesting
* Annie was still a bit annoying in her complaining about her family while staying away from them to keep them safe
