Despite a little bit of a clunky start - it jumped into the thick of things so fast I wondered if I'd missed a previous book or series - I really enjoyed this book. It's a very large cast of characters, so this first book is mostly about getting to know them all and the framework of this world/series ... but the setup is a good one, and I'm super excited to see where it goes.

Nora and Liam
This story runs immediately after a war, Commander Liam and his ship and crew are sent out to the border land.
Nora tries to stay out of the limelight as she has a secret. So when she and Liam are approached by a child asking them to look for her missing parents Nora bows out and leaves the station.
This story is complicated and isn’t easily condensed.
This is a mystery with a lot of world building. The story just ends, not exactly a cliffhanger but it’s definitely not a natural bre ...more
