5+ stars - Paranormal/Vampire Romance
I only need to say one word for this review: BONES! I love the Night Huntress series, and Bones is one of my all-time favorite romance heroes, ever! I've always wished for his point of view when reading the Night Huntress books. Now, finally, we get Halfway to the Grave from Bones' POV, and it's so bloody good and sexy! I loved it! Big 5 stars!
I really hope Jeaniene Frost has plans to write One Foot in the Grave from Bones' point of view as well. I mean, we ...more

This made me fall back in love with Cat and Bones along with Jeaniene Frost. I didn't know how much I have missed this world. I am planning on doing a re-read of all her books very soon and of course picking up all her new books ASAP

I tried I really did! I tried to make this book last. I waited as long as I could before opening the book (Two whole weeks!). when I did I tried to read a few chapters and take a break before reading again. Needless to say that only lasted for about a chapter before I was so engrossed in the story that I didn't come up for air before I'd read the whole thing and I savoured every minuted of it. Halfway to the Grave is still one of my favorite books and I'd read it so many times that I know every

Tonight, Bones hunted.
Wow! Just, wow! I didn't think I could love Bones any more than I already do, but I was wrong. I was late starting this series and can't believe it has been thirteen years since I first read Halfway to the Grave. Hearing everything from Bones point of view brought back great memories from the first book. In fact, I pulled it off my shelf and followed along as I listened to Bones.
I always remember when Bones first saw Cat and his reactions. I had forgotten some of the people ...more

As a long time fan of the Night Huntress series, it was a happy experience to see that Bone's feelings were there from the start.
Frost has given fans a chance to gaze fondly at the beginning of Cat and Bone's relationship. To me this chance gave me a warm feeling. Whether you liked the series finale or not, the beginning is where we all fell just a little bit in love with Bones. His compassion, his understanding of just what Cat needs, his willingness to give her space, (when it hurts him deepl ...more

Please tell me there’s another book coming!
I sure hope there’s another book coming! I miss Bones and Cat! It was so great reading them again. Even though it is essentially the same book as book 1. It’s great to get Bone’s point of view. I loved it and would recommend this to anyone who’s read the Night Huntress series.

I read about 12% of this, comparing it to Halfway to the Grave, and It didn't seem to add anything new to the story in my opinion.
