4.5 stars - Paranormal Romance

"I hope this won't be engraved on my headstone," said the man sitting next to Bones.
This is the retelling from Bones point of view of One Foot in the Grave. It has taken Bones four years to find Cat. During that time he has taken assignments to kill her from a variety of people. Those presenting the contract are the ones that end up dead.

That's was a really great addition to the Night Huntress series. Reading Bones's viewpoint on this one was awesome and getting to see his feeling in all that drama was an eye opener. Wonder if there will be more releases in his POV?

I have to say, I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would.
Cat can be a bit overbearing and having the contrapoint of Bones eternal patience is very nice. this is why I think the 1st POV has become so dated, and most books now try to present a dual point of view.
I would have loved to see the PINNING.
But I would have loved to see it *then*, I enjoyed this book, but it is unnecesary.
