Kit is trying to pass the test to become an agent and Lienna is told to shut down a demon summoning guild

What I enjoyed:
* Kit is relatable as he is just trying the best he can
* I'm happy Lienna shared her secret about her dad with Kit

What could have been better:
* Kit was a jerk to keep messing with Vincent after he saved their lives
* I can't tell if Captain Blythe is trying to help them or hinder them ...more

I just can't with these characters. I love them so much. And the slowburn is *chef's kiss*

Original Review:

Any book by Annette Marie (and in this case Rob Jacobsen) Makes me so so happy. I love the snark and the back and forth that Kit and Lienna have.

The character development was amazing (as always) and I was always on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next!

Can't wait to see what happens in the next installment! ...more
