Wrong, wrong, wrong! It’s all wrong!
I guess the first book is the sweet spot with this author for me. In the first book it’s alright if there’s a lot to explain but the second book is where the action should be.
But it’s not here. This book starts with three chapters of the heroine complaining that she doesn’t know HOW. She gets out of that headspace later but it doesn’t have the impact it should have since she didn’t do it herself. She was basically spoon fed the mindset she should take when i ...more
