I do like this one better than the first, but Kieran can still be a total dick, and Lexi can be mind-bogglingly spineless. But the banter is fun, and the details of her magic is cool, so I'm enjoying it.

I feel like, the first time around, I didn't give enough credit to the changes Kieran goes through in this book. He still can be a dick, don't get me wrong. But in book 1, he was a self-absorbed bag of shit, which is why I can still barely stomach reading it. In this book, most of ...more
