Competent writing for the most part (though a bit childish at times) I found myself enjoying this one in the beginning. Toward the middle the plot started to sag and I couldn't find the same momentum that had me interested in the setup.
I can see why this series would have its fair share of fans because it has relatable characters, strong men that don't have to be the best at everything with their alpha-maleness, cute dialogue, and interesting world-building. It just didn't keep my attention and
