This series is ending this year so I thought it would be a good time for me to catch up. Since it's been a while between my Kitty Norville reads, I was worried that I might have forgotten too much to really enjoy this one. Thankfully, it was easy to slip back into Kitty's world and to catch up with all my favorite characters. Kitty's Big Trouble wasn't my favorite book in the series (that goes to Kitty's House of Horrors) but it was a fun read and I enjoyed seeing Kitty, Ben, and Cormac ...more

I am quite pleased. This installment has made up for the books 4-7. I see returning interest in this series so far. Creature feature has been done nicely, and the return of a few characters has made the action better. It doesn't feel as forced as book 5 was.
I really liked the god theory that was brought to light, and it brought many questions to mind. I have a feeling that if you've lost interest in the series you would be intrigued to pick this one up.
Cheers and happy reading folks! ...more

Love this series. Kitty is funny, love the dynamic between her, Ben and Cormac. Quite liked the idea of looking for werewolves throughout history, though didn't care too much about the specific one she was looking into (I'm not American, dont really know who he was). Favourite character was Sun Wukong, a lot of fun.

Kitty's Big Trouble in China Town would have been a better title. Not about werewolves this time around. More about how to stop Roman again. But even more about Chinese culture and the gods they worshiped. It's almost time for Kitty to speak up for the rest of the werewolves. Hopefully in the next installment.
