Drink Deep is a hard book to review without issuing spoilers. Forgive me if this ends up on the vague side.

I bought the book at this week’s New York Comic Con, only realizing once I got home that I’d beat the general release by two weeks. Yay for publishers exhibiting at cons!

The last installment of Chicagoland Vamps left fans reeling. It was a game-changer, and although I wasn’t surprised by the events of that book, I was anxious to see how Neill would play things out.

The answer is…a lit

Drink Deep on Books On Track

Merit's adventures continue and this time things are different. She finds herself struggling to keep up with things, facing problems everywhere and lacking her loved ones' support.

I figured out a big part of the mystery early on but it was still well written and I enjoyed following Merit while she tried to puzzle things out. A few scenes were a bit vague and I would have preferred them to be a little more detailed, but all in all I enjoyed the book.

I didn't realize how much I missed Ethan while I was reading.
Okay, could someone please tell me who goes over to someone's house and steals ashes? Who does that?
I was about done with that person after that happened. Then again, that person never held my interest in the first place.
Where did Simon go at the end of the book and why did Catcher act like a brat throughout the book? I guess the movies on the Lifetime Movies channel were enough of a distraction because he clearly wasn't paying attent

It was so hard for me to get through this book. There were some parts that were skipped. There was a whole lot of internal monologuing and repeated information. I just got to the point where I just didn't care either. Why is Merit taking care of everything? I kind of get it, but then also not... ...more
