What Members Thought

Probably my favourite book of the series. Quite fast-paced, theres a lot going on (it is an apocalypse after all!) and Jo is running around from crisis to crisis trying to save the world. Loved Imara, she is such an interesting character. Liked the Mother Earth aspects, though I do wonder about whats so special about Joanne that Mother Earth will listen to her, and take her advice!

I almost didn't read this one because I disliked the last one so much. But I'm so glad I did as this reminded me of what I liked about the series and was my favorite so far. Jo is stroganoff powerful and not whiny or full of herself. She has to make hard choices and actually has to make one of the hardest of all near the end. This ends in a cliffhanger of course and I'm worried about the next book because it sounds like she may not have much power which I hate because she keeps getting saved by
