OK, you will see now that my rating has jumped to a 5. This was now a book I couldn't put down. In fact, as I read, I kept looking to see how many pages were left, something I seem to do when I worry that the book will be over too fast. I also noticed I was stalling as I read, getting up for this or that, I think so I could take the time and relish the fun! The romance picks up, maybe that was what I was missing, but I now am "getting" the Grey. The writer's style of romance is not the deep soul

The very first Greywalker book didn't grab me- it was a typical 'set up the world' urban fantasy. However, that it was set in Seattle gave me a big soft spot for it, and that the main character was more than a little feisty made me pick up the second even though the first book didn't blow me away. Now, I'm glad I gave it a chance. Two was alright.

This was another slow go book at first. It got interesting towards the end. I like the fact she used a monster that's not used in other books or movies.
