An overall okay vampire romance, although it lacks in actual romantic development. The relationship between Regina and Dmitri wasn't believable for me. First paragraph: “Good lord, you should have seen her face! I thought her eyes were going to pop right out of her head.”
This book is definitely NC-17 erotica, and the paranormal storytelling elements mere window-dressing to the eye-popping sexually explicit scenes depicted here. Unfortunately, I found myself having to skim whole sections of the book to get to the dialogue and move the story forward. ...more
