no.. just... no. un. fair.

Bloodrose , the final installment in Cremer's Nightshade trilogy, appears to have been either a major hit or depressing disaster for fans of the first two installments. For me, it was a good read. I didn't loooove it, but I didn't hate it either. As I've said in the past, I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to write ONE book, much less a series that fans grow to love/hate and follow with bated breath. This was one of the worst written books I have ever read. Seriously what is wrong with the author. I wanted to just put it down so many times.. but of course I had to torture myself and read till the end.

Here is what I hate about the book -
1. The author took the easy route out. Seriously wtf? The end sucked big time. The final battle didn't have the feel of the final battle. So blah. Them staying as wolfs was okay for me.. but I dont think Shay should have turned into one. The author tried too ...more

I really liked this whole series, and most of this book was pretty good, though with too much emphasis on a love triangle whose resolution was pretty much a foregone conclusion. If I was rating it on the ending, however, I would give it maybe 1 star. (view spoiler) ...more
