What Members Thought
This was the fifth or sixth time that I've read this book - and I still like it just as much as I did in the very beginning. There's something compelling about the characters of Seregil, Alec, Micum, Nysander, Thero, Klia and all the others. But it's not just the characters. The story itself is incredibly intriguing, even after so many re-reads. There's action, political schemes and romance, both het and gay. The whole society, the whole world that Flewelling built fascinates me. Definitely one

I love fantasy books and even though the romance is only being hinted at so far, you can see the roots of it being set up in this book.
