"Timmy gave Bones a speculative glance. "Before we go I gotta know: If mind-reading abilities are real, there's something else I wondered if fiction got right about vampires-"

"Ask me if I sparkle and I will kill you where you stand." Bones cut him off with the utmost seriousness."

This was just hilarious.

Cat finally accepts her weirdness, even though it does take her some time to get there.

In this crazy adventure Cat and her allies are trying to prevent a war between the vampires and the ghouls. Once again she finds herself right in the middle of a mess, when a ghoul with an agenda makes her the focus of the hate filled campaign he's running to incite his fellow ghouls against the vampires.

Cat continues to be intriguing and her ability to absorb powers from those she drinks from is interesting. I just wa ...more

I didn't catch on to Marie and what she was trying to achieve with the ghouls until it happened. Sneaky lady.
Other than that, nothing stood out as being that earth shattering.
Except having to wait a year for the next book. What is up with THAT?
