The snark! I really liked the narrator's voice. Okay, I'll confess. I loved her voice. Miranda was funny, clever, sassy, and perhaps a touch crazy. That's my kind of heroine! It's a delicate balance that occasionally can result in an obnoxious, over-the-top, annoying character but when done right, they're my favorite. I'm so glad that Harper did it just about perfectly because within the first few pages I was salivating for more. Occasionally Miranda slipped into the too silly but I already ador ...more

This was really cute!
One doesn't have to read it before reading the next book, but it's a good segue into this series that takes place in the the same town as the Jane Jameson books.
