I didn't enjoy the last installment of the Valorian Chronicles as well as I did the first two - even though the series came to a conclusion with the capture of the serial killer, I had a difficult time with the two main characters, Lyra and Theron. It wasn't that he was French, or that she reminded me of a new age hippie. I just didn't feel them. Despite these qualms, I enjoyed the series and am glad to have read it. ...more
